This is one of the genuine advantages of scanning by lasergrammetry: the device will allow the restriction of human intervention (manual surveying, scaffolding, contact with objects).
By the use of remote controls, laser scanning will also reduce the individual dosimetry of the operator (with the protection of ALARA scanning times).
However, the 3D scanner will still require meticulous protection, and the ventilation of the device should be inhibited.
